Weekend Results 15/09

Saturday saw our U14 Boys travel to Southend in the SFAI Cup. A long journey accompanied by a few faces missing meant the decks were stacked against our lads. Southend running out comfortable winners in the end.

Sunday saw our Mens "A" welcome last years league winners Moyne to Ounavarra Park. Despite going 1 down early our lads showed their battlign qualities and got their equaliser with half an hour left. Colin O'Brien then secured all 3 points with a goal of the season contender.

Our Mens "B" visited Wexford Bohs looking to get their season up and running. Our lads were 1 down with 20 mins to go but a combination of experience down the middle and youth on the wings proved too much for Bohs to hold out with our lads nabbing two late goals for a 2-1 win.
